From “The Controversial Canine” to “The Holistic Pet Collective”: A New Era in Animal Well-being.
Beyond Instinct - Where Quantum Physics meets Animal Behaviour
Hello and welcome!
I have been known as The Controversial Canine for many years now —not because I set out to be that way, but because over the years, my refusal to accept what we were told about pet care just wasn’t making sense to me.
Since the early 90s I’ve challenged mainstream veterinary practices, corporate-controlled commercial pet food, and outdated training methods, exposing the flaws in a system that prioritized profit over the well-being of animals. I spoke openly about:
🐾 The over-medicalization of pet care—unnecessary vaccines, prescription diets, and expensive treatments that often create more problems than they solve.
🐾 The dangers of early spay/neuter, which disrupts a dog’s natural development, affecting both physical health and behavior.
🐾 The over-regulation of dogs in North America, where excessive leash laws and pet limits restrict their ability to live as they were meant to.
🐾 The corporate grip on veterinary medicine, where skyrocketing prices and unnecessary procedures put financial burden over actual care.
These weren’t radical ideas—they were simply truths that the industry didn’t want people to hear.
And so, I became “controversial.”
A Defining Moment: When Science and Instinct Collided
In 1994, I read The Quark and the Jaguar by Murray Gell-Mann, a book that explored complexity, interconnectedness, and the hidden patterns in nature. I didn’t know it at the time, but this book was the beginning of a paradigm shift that would shape my life's work.
In the mid-90s, I was studying applied animal behaviour at the University of Guelph, surrounded by some of the greatest minds in the field. There was a massive movement happening—a push toward understanding behaviour beyond the rigid dominance models of the past. I was fortunate to be a part of that revolution.
But, still, there was something missing.
I had already started making the connection between nutrition and behaviour—realizing that food wasn’t just fuel, but a critical piece of an animal’s emotional and physical well-being. Yet, despite all the advancements we were making, no one was talking about the role quantum physics played in this.
I knew, instinctively, that there was a missing link between energy, consciousness, and behaviour—something science was not yet acknowledging. That realization became the foundation of everything I would go on to create.
Building Something Bigger: The Creation of Dogs Naturally Magazine…
Years later, that knowledge led me to create Dogs Naturally…Magazine, the world’s largest holistic pet health publication. It became the culmination of my life’s work, bringing together:
Species-appropriate nutrition and raw feeding
Natural healing alternatives to pharmaceuticals
Homeopathy, herbal medicine, and energy-based therapies
Behavioural science and training methods that respect an animal’s nature
Boldly and fearlessly exposing hard truths about the industry
Dogs Naturally Magazine disrupted the pet industry in a way no one expected. It empowered pet owners to take control of their pet’s health, question their vets, and move toward holistic, biologically sound pet care.
But as powerful as this movement was, I began to realize that our understanding of animals was still largely incomplete.
Beyond Instinct: The Quantum Nature of Animal Consciousness
Dogs Naturally was about rethinking health and behaviour—but something was still missing. The more I studied quantum biology, energy medicine, and consciousness science, the more I realized:
We’ve been thinking about animals all wrong.
For centuries, we’ve been told that animals are driven purely by instinct, reacting to their environment in predictable, mechanical ways. But what if that isn’t true?
🐾 What if animals are deeply connected to unseen energy fields?
🐾 What if they perceive the world in ways that go beyond our traditional senses?
🐾 What if they are quantum-conscious beings, aware of things we don’t even understand?
Science is only beginning to catch up to what ancient wisdom has known for thousands of years—that everything is connected, that energy flows between all living beings, and that animals exist in a state of awareness that defies traditional models of behaviour.
This led me to create The Holistic Pet Collective and my book, Beyond Instinct, where I go even deeper into:
Quantum entanglement and the unbreakable bond between animals and humans
How vibrational frequencies affect a dog’s behavior, health, and emotional well-being
Why holistic healing modalities—such as Reiki, homeopathy, and herbs—work at an energetic level
The role of animals as gatekeepers between dimensions, sensing energy beyond human perception
This isn’t just about pet care anymore.
It’s about rewriting the way we see animals.
A Movement, Not Just a Message
In my other publications I showed people how to take back control of their pet’s health from an industry that thrives on dependency.
The Holistic Pet Collective goes even further—it’s about reshaping our entire relationship with animals.
🐾 It’s about breaking free from the idea that we "own" dogs, and instead, learning how to coexist with them as conscious beings. ( there is a caveat here that we will discuss later)
🐾 It’s about moving past control-based training and understanding how energy, intention, and observation shape a dog’s world.
🐾 It’s about challenging outdated veterinary models and embracing holistic, energy-based medicine that works with an animal’s natural biology.
This isn’t a niche idea—it’s a paradigm shift.
From Controversy to Consciousness
I will always challenge the system if there is a potential for harm, and I will always push back against corporate greed disguised as “pet care.”
But now, instead of just exposing the flaws in the system, I am building a new way forward.
🐾
A world where dogs are seen as sentient, conscious beings—not just pets.
🐾 A world where veterinary care is ethical, affordable, and based on actual wellness.
🐾 A world where dog behavior is understood through science, energy, and connection—not dominance and control.
The transition from The Controversial Canine to The Holistic Pet Collective isn’t about being less disruptive—it’s about being more transformative.
Because true change isn’t just about breaking things down—it’s about building something better.
Join The Holistic Pet Collective and explore what’s truly possible for our animals.

Great stuff! For some reason it won't let me give likes on your posts.
